Last week, founding members of DTx Estonia, association of Estonian digital therapeutics manufacturers, had the pleasure to visit London, UK to host an Estonian #digitalhealth oriented business breakfast at HE Mr Viljar Lubi Residence and attend DTX-Events #DTxEurope2022 conference in London.
We had innumberable talks, shared contacts and scheduled follow up meetings at #DTxEurope meeting. And we learned a lot about the European and US digital health landscape, #reimbursment models (thanks for the US oriented talk Kamal Jethwani), and development of user-centric solutions. Find some of our take home messages below:
* Digital therapeutics are successful if seamlessly integrated intro therapeutic workflows.
* Lack of awareness is still the key barrier (70%) in the way of #dtx adoption.
* To overcome the latter mentioned issues – marry the clinical needs with user needs, and then keep your users close for learnings and developments.
On top of that, it is always such a pleasure to introduce Estonian digital innovation, be it in digitalizing #healthcare data or developing novel, landscape changing #digitaltherapeutics.
This time, three DTx Estonia founding member companies, Activate Health (Siim Saare), Migrevention (Katrina Laks) and SpeakTX (Andres Mellik) had the pleasure to present their #digitaltherapeutic solutions to the UK ecosystem. Health Founders health tech accelerator joined the event to support the companies. We are more than thankful to Estonian Ambassador in the UK, HE Mr Viljar Lubi, for hosting, and Maarja Pehk and Pilleriin Meidla for supporting us with organizing the business breakfast, and everyone who joined.
